Etude House I Can Fly Lip Balm Kakapo

Image

Today I will be reviewing the green lip balm in this line.

Etude House is a Korean cosmetics brand, known for their quality and adorable packaging and this item is not an exception.

These four egg shaped lip balms are in conjunction with four bird hand creams. Each egg has a matching bird containing hand cream, although they are sold separately.

You can probably tell that this add was not made by a native English speaker. This is something that makes Etude House products all the more cute. The outlandish names are only a result of direct translations for Korean to English.

Here is a picture of the lip balm that I’ve purchased so far:

The container small and compact and just perfect to carry in a purse or pencil bag .

The contents come in a round/ dome shape which to me is better than the normal screw out applicators because you can apply the product to both of your lips in one quick swoop. All four of these lip balms come in a peach flavour, although they come in different colours to match the hand creams.

Here is a picture of the Kakapo hand cream. It is sold seperately, although they are from the same line.

The packaging is a catch, I must admit, but I am equally satisfied with the quality and consistency of the products inside.

Here are two reviews that I have done on two of the hand creams so far.:

They go for 5500 Korean Won/ About $4 and 80 cents US. (The hand creams and the lip balms cost the same price)

If  you have any questions, or would like to suggest products to review, please feel free to let me know in the comments below  🙂

Have a lovely weekend!

  1. Thank you so much 🙂 I’m glad you like them. I go absolutely crazy for these thing. I’m considering selling some stuff online, but will have to look into it and see if it’s worth it. Korean products are really amazing though…
