Van Gogh Nails.

Hi Kittens.

I got my claws did 😻 and although I wanted purple I opted for blue instead. They are gel and I’m holding glittery thumbs that they’ll last a month like the lady claimed.

They kind of remind me of starry night. I’ll try and remember to do weekly updates.

Γ‰tude House 101 Pencil Review

Dear Ladies and Jellyspoons

I popped into Etude House on Friday just to see if anything drew my attention. (There’s always something) and I saw a promotion on their 101 pencil range. They recently came out with this wonderful multipurpose pencil concept that can be used as eyeliner, eyeshadow, blusher and lipliner. (Depending on the colour you pick) They started off with a set of 50 different colours with different purposes. Here are the colours below:

They’ve now added 10 limited edition Christmas pencils and if you buy any two pencils of the 60 available, they give you a complimentary tin to keep them in.

I got 23 and 57. 57 being in the limited edition 10.

Here are the swatches:

23 is a deep vampy red in a glossy finish. I got to match my Dear My Wish Lips #203

I will use it primarily as lipliner and blush when push comes to shove. So far it seems decent. Excellent colour pay off and its soft texture makes it moisturizing and not drying at all.

Here’s the packaging:

Each colour comes in a sturdy little box with individual colours on every box. The pencil is retractable, which is always a plus for me. Plus it comes with a nifty little sharpener at the end of it:

Here are a few pictures of the box they gave me as part of the promotion. I’m obsessed:

I was expecting to get just a tin, but they made a perfect insert that keeps ones pencils from rolling around and scratching and breaking. Each ton contains 8 pencils, and by the looks of things I’ll probably need about 5 more tins because I want ALL of these.

Here are the final looks:

Have a wonderful week everybody!

Etude House Dear My Wish Lips Talk RD 302

Ladies and Jellyspoons

I have been dying to get my hands on one of these lipsticks for the longest time, but it’s one of those times when you realise you have to cut down on buying making and I just couldn’t justify buying yet another lipstick… until I saw the colour of this one. πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜ I saw the vampy, deep berry colour of this lipstick and I couldn’t resist. It is the one on the very right of this picture and it’s the darkest colour in the range.

Here it is:

Etude House is famous for rocking out on cute packaging. Yes, they did it again! The packaging is similar to the Dear My Blooming Lips Talk, buts it’s longer. These lipsticks look the same because they will also be part of their permanent collection. The tube is pink with a detachable metallic ribbon ring.

Here is Dear My Blooming Lips Talk on the left and Dear My Wish Lips Talk on the right.

The colour is translated as “Provocative Runway Burgundy” which totally makes sense. There’s usually a fair amount of Konglish in the names, but not with this particular one.

Here’s the lip swatch:rd2

The Dear My Blooming Lips Talk range as a variety if mattes and creamy lipsticks, though I believe this range (Dear My Wish Lips Talk) is supposed to be more creamy and moisturizing, and it certainly is. I can’t vouch for the longevity of it just yet, since I’ve just applied it for the sake of the blog, though I’m planning on updating the blog ASAP for you guys and girls.

And finally, my new favourite lipstick:

Yes, I cut my hair πŸ™‚ I’ll do a full explanatory blog on that first thing tomorrow. Ps sorry for the zombie eyes. This was a post nap blog.

Lots of love and best wishes.
